Kelowna to Vancouver

In the planning/moonshot phase of a potential trip between Kelowna and Vancouver between Aug 1 - Aug 12th. I am playing an ultimate frisbee tournament in Kelowna the last weekend of July, and potentially back to Kelowna 3 weeks later.
My partner started cycling during COVID and in 2021 she cycled her first tour with me to Kingston from Toronto (300 km). She is interested in doing more, and we are actively looking for route advice and pointers.

90 days on a bike.v1

Cycling from Portland OR to Denver CO as the first leg of this journey. I'm going as light as possible - a credit card ride - and so would like to stay relatively close to civilization. I have 30 days to get to Denver - May 1 to May 31. I would like to use the Warmshowers network as much as possible.
Your suggestions are welcome. Be happy

From Basque Country to Viena

Hello everyone!
I am embarking on a summer cycling adventure along EuroVelo 8, 7, and 6, starting in early July. I will begin in San Sebastian (Basque Country) and cross France via the V81 to reach the Mediterranean Sea. From there, I will follow EuroVelo 8, the Mediterranean Route. Next, I will transition to EuroVelo 7, the Sun Route, before reaching EuroVelo 6, the Danube Cycle Route, which will take me towards Vienna. Throughout the journey, I plan to camp and Warmshowers as my primary options for sleeping. My spanish omelette is delicious. Let's have it for dinner while we talk about adventures. If anyone is interested, feel free to join me, I would appreciate the company and travel a few kilometers together.

Seattle and Vancouver Island.

My wife and I are arriving in Seattle with our foldies, on the 26th of May. We hope to see as much of that part of Washington as possible before we head to Port Angeles to take a ferry to Vancouver Island. We plan to go from there to Calgary to greet the arrival of our first grandchild in mid June. We hope to meet friendly and accommodating people along the way. We are from Malaysia and we have hosted several European cyclists through the years. Cheers.

Netherlands and Belgium

I'm planning to spend 10 days cycling starting Sunday 16th July in Haarlem, NL. My general plan is to do the Netherlands in the first week, then Belgium for a few days before getting the ferry from Calais. I'd be interested to meet people or in any suggestions you might have. I'm pretty flexible about plans.

Hello! I will be cycling the EuroVelo 15 from Den Haag on 17 August, and through all the way to Lake Toma on 7 September. Would be lovely to be joined by anyone interested. I plan on using the warm showers community to find accommodation, and also maybe camp some of it.

Touring from Berlin into the Dolomites

Hello! I am a student of Industrial design, headed out on my first longer term bike/camping tour. My route at the moment is the Kobenhaven - Berlin path, then the Eurovelo 7 + 8 from Salzburg to Venice. I would love to connect with other cyclists along the way and find places to stay on my route; I am hoping to get set up with a tent and camp for most of the trip but an indoor spot to stay every once in a while would be awesome'
I am planning to cycle from Copenhagen on July 7th/8th at least until Rostock, and to be in Berlin until around the 13th - 18th before heading for Salzburg. I have heard that wild camping is not allowed in Germany, but that I may be able to stay on farms or camp on the sly: any local knowledge would be most welcome :-) I look forward to connecting with all you bike people!

Looking forward to a trip to Northern Norway in Aug-Sept

Dear Hosts between Lofoten and Nordkapp!

I'm planning a tour between mid Aug and mid September. I have a ticket which likely takes me, my bike and tent to Tromsø on 11th of Aug. Would love to start to Nordkapp, get back by bus and ... from this point on I'm flexible. I'm thinking about cycling to Lofoten and when the time comes get back via a ferry to Tromsø.

Do you have any recommendations, must haves, vague ideas about what to experience, what/who to visit considering the time of the year in your lovely area?

Thanks and regards,
Zoltan

South Korea/Japan

I am ready to start my next trip in South Korea, Planning to cycle from Incheon to Busan, hugging the west coast heading south and then up to Busan, no concrete plans to reach destinations by the evening, taking it by the grace of tail wind. I want to immerse in the Korean culture as much as possible, so please let me know foods (especially fermented food other than cabbage kimchi) that I have to try and off beat places I can visit. I would like to meet local people to have a cofee and talk to them.
After Busan I will take the ferry to fukuoka and work my way up to Tokyo. Same modus operandi as Korea. Love to meet local people and make new friends.

early October, across Germany

It's just an idea for now,but I'm exploring the possibility of touring Germany eastwards between Freiburg (Breisgau) and Bad Muskau, probably passing through Karlsruhe,Wurzburg, Erfurt and Leipzig. Solo trip, I'm happy to have a company for a day,but I won't ride very fast.
It will be a part of my early birthday celebration,so if you live along that trail and know a nice cafe,I can buy us a cake.

Touring New Zealand and Vietnam

Hey there,
I’m touring the South Island from Nov 23 -Jan 13. So far I will be landing in Christchurch and heading to Nelson for Christmas to meet up Sith some friends.
Does anyone have route recommendations for a month and change on the South Island?
Id also like to get some paragliding in if possible and read that both Christchurch and Nelson both have good beginner sites (just got my p2). Cheers :)
