Hi,
I am hoping to do a two-week cycling tour in Ireland in September. I'd welcome suggestions for routes and tips generally.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

A very good resource about cycling in Ireland is Tom Cooper's "Cycling the The Wild Atlantic Way and Western Ireland" (https://www.amazon.com/Cycling-Wild-Atlantic-Western-Ireland/dp/1852849096/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2A8SJT4K1UPR9&keywords=tom+cooper+wild&qid=1660549040&sprefix=tom+cooper+wild%2Caps%2C199&sr=8-1). It describes the most popular route and also contains answers to the most important general questions about cycling in Ireland. It is short and easy to read.
Thanks a lot, Janis. I saw that book but had already bought a couple of others (the Lonely Planet Cycling Guide to Ireland; Flanagan's Cycling Guide to Ireland). I have managed to piece together a route. I've settled on the Cork to Galway route. Hopefully, the storms and the midges will hold off.
Cheers,
Chris
