Reaching out to any North Island NZ residents who can offer support/advice and/or possibly companionship and/or accommodation from around 9th January 2023 onwards.
I'm a very youthful, fit semi retired school nurse visiting NZ later this year. I have a house sit in Central NZ with the loan of a bike to explore the area during my time there until 9th January 2023 after which I'll be heading North and my diary is empty!
Would love to meet fellow cyclists ideally with time on their hands to show me around by bike or for advice/inspiration/ideas.
I'm just saving hassle by not bringing my own bike this time so looking for cheap rental/loan of a small framed bike....any ideas massively appreciated.

Hi Carrie, We live in Auckland, will be around mid-January. My old bike is an older hybrid which I've road toured on. Not sure how big tyres could go on it for gravel. An Avanti Sublime, size small (I'm 1.6m - 5'3"ish). Which you'd be welcome to borrow.
