Went alone and got on oK . Further info. Plenty of hostel acommodation at 20 euro and guesthouses at 35 euro. Towns had bike shops.
The seafood was amazing. Cycled, ate fish and salad and black coffee...lost weight enjoyed sun and orange groves scenting air....it was good. Gave up after 10 days when i turned north from Sagres and felt spooked being alone
